Pics are up! I was finished at night so couldn't take good night shots with my camera phone. Tomorrow well today but in the afternoon ill take some nice shots. I cleaned up the engine bay and tied things up. My dad came up with the idea of mouting the ignitor where it is. He just used the original bracket and the long side over to the short side and we used a longer bolt . Had to tape up some wiring as well just in case since I figure there wil be alot of water and stuff in the area now.

Going to run the bpv line under the pipe for the oil breathers and take new pics with the engine cover on.. Also going to replace the clear tubing. For now seems to work just fine though.

hehe Im having the same issue with my Blowoff valve. Just cant find any appropriate sized tubing thats flexible enough to make it look good. Remember someone posted a pick oh their intercooler install and had used a bunch of 90 degree couplers and it turned out sweet but could never find anything like that myself.

Install looks good. glad to hear shes pulling strong! Good work!
Dave

As documented in my installation guide, ended up using the BPV tubing that came with the Samco hose kit. Cut it to the correct length and then placed the BPV near the TPS.

Well I got a 90 silicone hose off ebay cut it really short, got some 2.25" OD aluminum pipe, bought a crap load of T bolt clamps and used SOME gear clamps where I had to use them since hte area was to tight, I just made sure I didn't make them tight on the silicone.

Now for the y pipe bought a y pipe again off ebay was made in Canada for $90. All I had to do was cut before the 90 going towards the turbo so I could extent it with 2" pipe. Make sure you cut at a decent angle so it lines up. With the silicone you have some flex so you don't need to go spot on.

I moved the wiring harness around a bit. I taped up some wires for water protection. The ignitor was relocated with the cruise control thing ?! my dad bent one of the bolt tabs to the shorter then and made it flat with a vice, then found a longer bolt and used one bolt and put the ignitor as you see.

For the BPV my OD was only 1" so I couldn't use the normal BPV hose that came with the silicone y pipe kit from ebay. Instead had to use some clear tubing as it was all I could find but seems to work fine with clamps. The BPV is a vw diesel one and worked out pretty good.

Had my doubts about the coolant tank location yet it worked out perfectly didn't even have to buy new hose for the turbo line.

For the driver side valve cover vent the hose was to short and hard as a rock to begin with so I had to just use longer heater hose in its place for now. Hopefully will hold up fine for a while actually.

You can see I moved alot of things under the dog bone like everyone else does. Makes things WAY cleaner. Also since I had the opportunity made sure to unplug the speedo cable from the tranny, pull the cable out, clean it, and relube with some lithium grease. No more bouncy speedo!!!

Surprised how well everything worked out!! No more oil leaks and crap so happy. Just when I removed my up pipe to replace the rear cam support o rings I reused the gasket between the manifold and uppipe. Replaced the uppipe and downpipe gaskets between the turbo though!! It definitely boosts nicely regardless, yet my exhaust tone seems noticeable louder any ideas?

Hmm so you used a cheap ebay 90 degree silicon pipe for the turbo intake? Im thinking of doing this to maybe a VF39 i have sitting around. How much effort does it take to make it look stock as possiable?

Nice job tho for your intercooler and TD04! Looks great.

thanks guys ill post links of the hoses i bought. Just used a exacto knife and kept testing cutting over and over till everything was perfect. The 90 i bought was a sharp angle so worked perfectly after cutting it.

Sucks i had to use blue but w.e matched the ngk wires and going to get blue silicone hose for the bpv and post new pics. I plan on putting back the engine cover as well.

Oh, I wasn't saying that the blue looks BAD! Just that it didn't look stock. BTW nice job with the coolant tank, looks nice and tidy in there.

lol I know its cool, I was disappointed it wasn't all black hose I got either too! xD

Advice clear tubing + heat = expanding tubing .......

I could only find 1" ID clear tubing locally on a sunday. Just needed it to couple between the vw BPV and on the other end to go to the 1" to 3/4" adapter.
