Here are some pics from today!!

Got the car into our shop and then started stripping my car!

Got the tranny and engine out... Discovered a problem on my motor... back timing cover bolt worked its way out and damn near broke the timing belt! Yikes! I'll post some pics of that later!

Oh and got a bunch of suspension stuff out to.

I'll get some more pics tomorrow of everything else... Camera died tonight.

Lazy... dont feel like putting up the pics.. I'm tired....

Pulled Interior, Suspension, Front and Rear subframes... cleaned everything... moved cars around, put on rear subframe and suspension on new car.

well at least this one doesnt ahve wood screws holding the door molding one. oh and spence screw you on that shop. no wonder you can get shit done fast.

Yeah, I can't even pull my car all the way into my garage! Look at you wheeling it around on carts! It's probably warm in there too. I bet you've got a compressor too. Must be nice.

Here are some pics from yesterday....

Got the front cross member and suspension in today

And the Had to do some running around for parts... LW Flywheel... WRX Steering Rack, Shifter Bushings, WRX Shifter Assembly, and a WRX Coolant overflow tank.

She is now standing once more on her own 4 wheels lol

Today will be getting the wiring fixed, engine and tranny in and she should run by the end of the day...

Tomorrow will be Stereo and Interior then we'll be done

Hmmm...I just need new boots. Maybe only one side too. I saw there were a few legacy's at the local junkyard with good boots I might just snag those instead. I think woodland is a far drive from south of olympia.

Plus, if it's leaking that doesn't do me any good really.

You wouldn't happen to have a spare gas tank with sending units from an SS would you?

Well the boots are fine... if it were just the boots I would have replaced them... but it was leaking elsewhere I think i may actually have been leaking from the connectors lol.

Nope... I'm leaving the tank in the car for cj... I may have the sending units from my 93... but idk... I'll check

Well, maybe those sending units will work. Mine are both covered in a ton of rust. I don't know if the tank is any good or not but the sending units and fuel pump are the nastiest I've ever seen.

Found a sending unit for you... PM me if you want it...

And the real reason I upgraded the steering rack was because WRX racks are a shorter ratio rack... other wise I would have left old leaky alone lol.

Didnt get AS much done as I wanted to today... Instead ended up stripping more of the other car...

So tomorrow I will get the engine in first thing and weld up a new knuckle for the new rack...

What got done today... Tranny and clutch all setup in the car... driveline... axles...

Oh and found some adaptors so i could use the Stainless braided brake lines that were on the car... They came with AN Fittings and the stock brakes use a banjo bolt... So I got a piece at Napa that screwed into the banjo bolt hole but connected to an AN fitting on the other side... Seems to be working just fine! And Stainless Brake Lines! Yaya!

Also got the fuel pump in and front bumper and teh fender liners all done and stuff like that...

Shes getting their! Will be done tomorrow or Sunday at the latest unless we encounter problems.

(So far I've done this all myself... Daves gonna help me with the rewiring tomorrow... thats the main delay on everything today.)
