Front wheel bearing

Im replacing a couple front wheel studs on my 93 legacy which i think warped my rotors and was wondering if doing that would call for new bearings

I wouldn't bother with it unless they're bad. If they're bad you should be able to hear them grinding when you lift up the car and spin the wheel. They're kind of a pain in the ass to replace so I wouldn't do it unless it was necessary.

Big pain to replace. If they arent bad I wouldnt worrie about them.
You'll know if theyre bad, mine got so bad my dad didnt want to ride in my car.

I don't think studs will warp your rotors. They can strip or break, then your wheels aren't evenly torqued. With cast and vented rotors, thats not gonna warp them. Broken or stripped studs should deffinatly be replaced though.

I can't remember exactly what the hubs on a subie look like, but you can usually replace a stud without removing the hub from the car.

the guy tell me tht the front bearing are not press but the rear is?

he sell the front for 45$ each and the rear hun and bearing for 90$
each anyone can give me information about these

they also rebuild axle for 85$

All four bearings have to be pressed into the knuckle.

Make sure the parts guy has your year right. Our hubs have to be pressed into the bearings. Only cars with the updated multilink rear suspension have sealed rear hub/bearing assemblies.

Make sure you get seals too. Fronts have two seals, rears have three.

Wheel bearings are gravy for me, I also have the special subaru on car bearing repair kit. The hubs can usually be pressed in with the axle nut if you have a good impact, Just remember to stake it after.

He's meaning to use a punch and hammer on the outside of the axle nut into the indented portion of the axle. This will help prevent the axle nut from loosening.
