auto to man swap dif question
So ive got a 94 tleg with the 4eat and a lsd in the rear. Ive searched around but cant find info on weather or not ill need to swap the rear diff due to man gearing differances, I dont want to lose my lsd. Am I blind or just retarded?

As long as the manual you swap to has the same 3.9 ratio, you'll be fine.

Search on here, but I believe:
-Turbo 5-speeds are 3.9 (hydro)
- NA AWD 5-speeds are 4.11 (cable)
-NA FWD 5-speeds are 3.70

The transmission code chart on www.northursalia.com is also a good resource. I use it all the time when I need to decode a transmission.
Unfortunately, most rear differentials don't have markings or labels that tell you the gearing they have so you should try and find out what car it came from and figure it out that way.
