Magnaflow Q
Hey i was wondering i put a Magnaflow on my 93 turbo legacy would it have a difference on the turbo spool...quicker? and when its installed does it go all the way up to the turbo
'93 turbo legacy
It may help a little, but probably won't be much just for the muffler.

The muffler would just be.... well the muffler. In order to get from the turbo back you would need a downpipe, all of the mid-piping including any catalytic converters and/or resonators you wanted on there ending with a muffler or tip. The full 3" turbo back exhaust would definately open up your turbo but just the muffler will add some noise and thats about it.

Your restrictions are the same upstream and it won't really change pulse tuning characteristics being that far downstream and it would still a change of volume in the same location as the stock muffler. So, no, it'll give you a different sound, but any performance increase will likely be a placebo effect and aftermarket mufflers are probably cheaper than OEM.
