I want to improve aerodynamics at this point, so that means a rear spoiler, cleaning up the undercarriage with flat panels, blocking the grille, and building a shroud behind the radiator that ducts the air out a low-pressure zone through the front of the hood. I'd be happy being in the 30's for mpg. The thing I'm building should be comfortably in the 70's with a better power/weight than an STI—nothing like starting from scratch and not needing to answer to marketing and their conditioned, narrow-minded customers. I'm still juggling with putting an airbag in or not. The wheels are not often attractive and I'd have to figure out where to put the sensors, but I think the chassis is going to be so damn strong that it might be a good idea to be able to dissipate the crash forces on me over a longer time period since I don't think the frame will crumple much at all. The thing is that being dead would be OK with me, but being a vegetable would not.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

oh, its going to happen and vrg3 will not stop meApex3 wrote:Well if you see something you like, make it happen! That's one thing I noticed moving over here from an e30 forum, you guys have no drive, over there if someone wanted something they'd make it, or they'd find someone else to make it, granted it was a much bigger forum, but that doesn't mean you can't do it here, get creative. Seems like if someone doesn't make it already, no one even thinks twice about it for these cars.SubaruNation wrote:yeah AWD_addict,
i have been browsing through other Japanese car blogs like this just to look at the glory that we don't ever receive here in the united states.
I have babelfish for my FF also, and ha ha its almost not worth using sometimes because the context is still so tough to interpret.
To be totally honest though, I've been trying to think of something cool and unique but I'm drawing blanksoh well, it's hard when you're broke anyway.

They look like early speedlines. not very light, but strong.Apex3 wrote:What wheels are those? They're the same ones that are on the Rothman's car

Thanks. I want them really bad, but I have a feeling I can't afford them if I can even find them...epicfail wrote:They look like early speedlines. not very light, but strong.Apex3 wrote:What wheels are those? They're the same ones that are on the Rothman's car
