Freshen up EJ20G heads with USDM parts?

Does anyone possibly know if I can use USDM parts to freshen up the EJ20G valvetrain in the heads I have for my future motor build? The heads I have are shimless bucket over valve design if that helps any...

Most parts should be interchangable with '96 (only'96) Outback/Legacy 2.5 GT EJ25D parts.

IIRC from the EJ20G parts list on Nasioc, everything but the camshafts is the same. Even the valves and (non-STI) HLAs are the same.
'93 Winestone SS Auto, '91 Pearl White SS.
'93 Pure White SS EJ20G slanty intercooled, SIDESWIPED! In stasis.
'94 FWD and '95 AWD Laguna Blue SVXs.
