Questions about differentials

Ok so i know i can search but i'm kinda drunk but i was thinking about this...

I'm at a point to where im trying to scrounge up as much money as i can because i have a baby on the way and ive been hurting for money for the last 2 months...

My overall point is are differentials interchangeable between 4EAT and 5MT? I have a 1991 3.90 VLSD on my turbo legacy right now but i also have a NON-VLSD 3.90 rear diff from a 92 4EAT Turbo Legacy.

If they're interchangeable, i want to put the non vlsd diff on my car and sell the VLSD so i can get alittle bit of money. i hate to do stuff like this because like any other car enthusiast, i want what's good for my car but desperate times call for desperate measures.
Unless someone wants a turbo 3.90 thats not vlsd (in the parts shed) im going to swap my diffs out(if interchangeable) and sell my VLSD so i can have som money.....

You can swap them back and forth. I hope I never have to make that kind of decision.

yeah i hope i dont havt to either but i know a vlsd will sell faster then a non-vlsd and i really need some cash atm...

As long as the final drive ratio is the same you can swap whatever you want in.
