so i been wanting to do an engine swap in my 90 leggacy 2.2l considering it has almost 220k, would swapping in a 2.5l from a 96 outback be a fun car to drive? would the block handle a turbo (if i went that route), i found one for 500 and it says it has 165 psi. compression in all 4 cylnders. new timing belt and has be resealed, that a good price? any info would help, im a newb when it comes to this stuff
also would the 2.5l bolt right in and would my 5spd trans fit it?
2.5l in '90 leggy?

It will work fine, you just need to make sure you transfer over your crank and cam sensors. Bolts right in.
