would an air bubble in the heating system cause no heat and no overheating?

Yes.

Is this on a non-turbo or turbo?

The non turbo cars have a bleeder screw on the passenger side of the radiator to help bleed air from the system.

turbo. I'm guessing it'll cause overheating in the rad as well causing the tranny fluid to lose viscosity and tranny to slip huh?

Turbo cars have a line at that burp spot. However you still may have an air bubble. Pointing the nose up helps get the air out.

I'm not sure it would really affect the tranny that much if any.

Exactly if you tranny is slipping when hot, you can try new fluid.

so yeah there was a bubble....and a symptom was my 4eat slipping and loosing power!!
