this is quite the project i have spent more time up until this point cleaning the car inside and out than working on it bought the car for 400 dollars and it had been sitting in this guys back yard for 4 years. It was sunk down in the dirt about 6" so we pulled it out loaded it on the trailer and brought it home. From there i started disassembled the car and started cleaning, next i ordered a ej20h engine swap from jhot imports so i removed 2.2 and auto swapped crossmember in installed engine and started wiring, got on here and ordered jdm rhd pedals from blackbart installed pedals and wrx pedal covers i am still working on the wiring most of it plugged in i.e. steering column original fuse panel had to drill an additional hole on the left side of firewall to route wiring harness into passenger compartment. here are some pics of the progress
well after great thought i have changed directions on the tt swap into the postal wagon acquired a 22t short block which i am going to build up use the 2.0 tt heads and intake and a 08 sti vf48 turbo which i acquired today some much larger injectors, stand alone ecu and make an attempt at a 350 whp rhd postal wagon. decided this direction because of the complexity of the tt set up and the rarity of replacement tt parts here and all the crucial parts i need i have got already, will port and polish heads while they are off also gasket match and extrude hone intake manifold hope to have a wrx killer because any one with a credit card can make a wrx or sti fast it takes talent to make a 91 rhd wagon haul the mail thanks for reading to those who own wrxs nothing against you i work on them every day and have seen it all any kind of built motor or bolt on dont see really fast old legacys very often around here or never actually
i bought it from jhot imports out of denton tx it came with wiring ecu trans axles ect. all in really nice shape when it arrived just a few broken plastic nipples that was it and it was like 1100 shipped to missouri really happy with them i have ordered other things from them and have always been happy check them out at jhotimports.com
Where are you located in Missouri? I'm in St. Louis with a turbo'ed Legacy. Major props to you on this project, I'm wanting a RHD postal wagon if something happens to my current Legacy.
