CES exhaust "test" pipe

Just curious if anyone had one of these laying around they wouldn't mind parting with. I'm sure I can have one made locally, but just thought I'd ask.

Incidentally, this very weekend I hatched a project idea that may free mine up.

Not sure what your time line is but I will not be undertaking this for a couple months, if at all.

Well I was interested in one because of this potential issue and was hoping to get the car tuned within the next couple weeks.

naw, my idea was pretty far out there and I never actually did it, so my exhause is still fully in place and will stay that way indefinitely

my idea was to chop the backend of the body.

basically take out 12 or so inches of the body between the back of the wheel well and when the spoiler starts.

think it would make the car look even less fat, and could help with weight, albeit at the wrong end.....


so I was thinking if I chopped the body my exhaust would have to be shorter, ie. I might not need the test pipe portion.


I guess the wheelbase would still be longer, but the bumper to bumper might be closer to an impreza if this was done.

Is there that much length between the gas lid and taillights? Would look interesting—like you didn't let getting rear ended by a truck get you down. Would reduce polar moment of inertia a little.

If I were a rich prick, I'd maybe build a Nomad Legacy, either using Impreza coupe doors as a base, or extending the Legacy front doors.
