Admittedly the game is not very good, but it's playable once you get used to it, I played for 4 or 5 hours today  mostly just trying to unlock the car.

Actually yes. I have all the tokyo xtreme games and I play them on my ps3. Well not really anymore.

There was a thread about our cars being in that game a few months ago and that's when I bought all the tokyo games. I used to play tokyo xtreme racer zero on ps2 a lot. That's the only one I ever got into though. Far different than the others as it's just freeway racing. I would absolutely without a doubt say that it's the hardest game to beat in the world. You have to beat like 300 cars and certain ones only come out at certain times of the day on certain parts of the track and some you have to be going the right direction on the freeway to find. You also have to have beaten the right people or number of people beforehand for them to appear. If you google this you can find a walkthrough that'll tell you exactly what requirements you must meet to beat each racer but it's ridiculous. I could never beat that game.

Well damn, I thought I was onto something here. I searched and all that came up was a GT5 thread.

My favorite is 3 personally, it's bigger than Zero, has better graphics, and uses licensed cars.

I'm a big Need For Speed (Carbon, Wanted, Undercover, Shift is ok but I like open world racing)fan. I don't like the new direction their going so looks like i'll be getting the extreme tokyo racing games. It's great they threw the wagon in there too, not just the SS. Do you know if they make this for the 360, do I need to just bust out my old(but still kick ass) PS2. I think the only other racing game that came with a somewhat old school Subie was gran turismo 3,it had the STI 22B. After I got my Legacy I busted out GT and went to town on the 22B, and they had like a 96 Legacy wagon too I believe.

Ive played one of these games before, dont remember which one but it had the 95 or so legacy and the 22B and the STi thats our 2000 OBS body style.

My roommate had it and I had no idea what to expect, the steering is insane. A friend actually got it down and could DRIFT  every corner without hitting anything.

This ones just PS2, and it actually came out after 360 and PS3 did. If you want a TXR for 360 then look for Import Tuner Challenge, same thing. But you should be able to get all the PS2 games for less than $5

There's actually a lot of racing games with old Subarus, specifically GC STi's, not a lot of current gen though.

Drift is actually not a TXR game though, it's Drift Racer Kaido Battle, if anyone remembers that, a drift game with a decent amount of hype, but the company went under and Genki picked it up. Both Drift games play a lot different than the highway ones. I'm getting okay at drifting in this one, it was easy in the first one after not long, this one is ridiculous though what they expect you to do without hitting a wall.
