A couple months ago I was playing with the wagon and decided to take the interior apart. I removed the large plastic molding that covers the right rear cargo area, it covers the side where the storage compartment bolts on. Behind where the speaker bolts on is a little metal tank, the metal is just a cover and once removed reveals a plastic tank with 3 lines connected to it. I removed the lines and they smelled of fuel vapor, is this the vapor storage tank that the purge control solenoid draws from? I'm not having problems or anything, just curious. Is it a common practice to mount these inside the vehicle? I believe you can actually see this without removing the molding, just the speaker.
Thanks, Brian

I think I found the answer. I did some searching and it appears to be the fuel vapor separator. Two lines come from the fuel tank, one goes to the charcoal canister, and from there it gets purged. It has to be this as I can't find anything else. I'm still wondering if it's common practice for manufacturers to run fuel vapors into the cabin?

You are correct in what you found. It is the fuel separator. Not sure if it's "normal" for manufacturers to run fuel vapor lines in the cabin.
They run the fuel and fuel vapor lines albeit metal in the cabin. That's normal.
