TD04 for sale

Post by robbcolecrabtree »

Okay, so I originally bought a TD04, and then I ended up getting a VF 10 and I decided to go with the VF for my swap instead. The TD04 is what is for sale, and it came off of a 2002 wrx with 20,xxx miles on it. There is minmal shaft play, if that. I can't really feel any, but I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that there may be a little that I am just not feeling. The wastegate and coolant lines come with, they are just disconnected. I am taking all reasonable offers, so let me know if you want it, and what you are willing to do. I can get pictures if you would like, it just looks like every other TD04 out there, so I didn't take any before I left home. Let me know guys.

if I could ask what is the difference between teh two. am doing a hybrid 2.35 with dohc G heads.

looking to get about 245-255 lb ft. hoping to see 225- 240 hptw.

all this in a 97 Impreza Outback Sport. 16"snow flake rims. Intercooler, equal lenght headers, catted up pipe downpipe and 3" exhaust. well that is what I am going for.

don't wish to lower ball you or like that. this is a project for grandson. 11 years old and he wants this car. seeing how his father is my son, i am trying to keep him off the city streets. he reads whole books, good in math, homework and is a good kid with great grades.

so I hope to have this motor built by the summer if not all the parts by then.

but yea what would you take for this. when you get a chance get back at me. be well.

We are working on it. He seems like a nice guy, which can be hard to come by these days. Hopefully he will get the money together before anyone else comes along. Thanks Mattheww044 for the tip.
