as you said it all depends on where you get it inspected because here in va if it was made before 1990 you dont have to do emissions and you only have to get inspection....most places wont check for a cat when you get inspection done either.Aerotech wrote:Depends on where you get it inspected. I put a 3" hi-flow cat on mine when I bought it, no regrets, always passes. Put on a decent monolithic hi-flow performance cat, you won't notice any power loss. Cost about $100. The cat also acts as a resonator, smooths the exhaust note to a more mellow sound, less raspy.
How did the car feel when you drove it? Is it as nice as it looks in the ad? I was really tempted to go look at it.
