What did you do to your Subie today?

I'm always late with this, but I've been doin work lately. Got my coffee cup mod made yesterday, $15 I like the sound, hopefully people outside the car can here it now, I like surprising people.
Once I get it cleaned up a bit and painted I'll post pics to show you all how it should be done, there are some pretty sketchy ones out there. Honestly I haven't seen a single one that looks like it belongs in the engine.

Reinstalled the AVCR in conjunction with the Greddy TRUST MBC. Will see if it can cause boost to build a bit faster.....
Installing Greddy boost guage and EGT gauges as well. The Harbor Freight boost guage works awesome, only it stops numerically at 20 psi.

I drove about 1700 miles (roundtrip to Detroit) to look at a turbo Legacy I didn't buy.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

no we just drove to Snoqualmie, picked up the fenders, and drove around Seattle quite a bit, but the whole point of the trip was to get the fenders.kimokalihi wrote:Holy shit. One way? I'm a few hours late posting this up...but got the 6MT all together, and then made a BPV adapter and trimmed the T/B opening on a WRX TMIC.

Dude, I pray to God this fixes your car. I feel so bad that you've been battling this thing so long, I've been keeping up at revtronix.com.BSOD2600 wrote:Installed a[nother] new knock sensor. Wired it back to the ECU with microphone wire. *crosses fingers it fixes the issues*
Today I checked all my fluids and tire pressure, my damn hood will not stay shut . Sometimes I just stare under the hood and imagine what could be, seriously!

Wasn't intending to do much, but while I was unloading some groceries, I noticed some leaves and assorted debris down in the bottom of the fender area behind the mudflaps and went to remove it.
Half an hour later I had a couple of cubic inches of dirt piled up on the ground on both sides of the car...
Once the hose gets hooked back up, I'm gonna have to remember to wash those areas out.
