Ice Racing with the Legacy!
Here are a few pictures from the past weekends ice race! The race was a HUGE success as we took home a 1st and 2nd place finishes in our class! Nick (Pita84) took first, and I was a few seconds behind in second!

I wish we had no snow banks like that at our annual ice race weekend in Orr, MN. Banks break stuff, and for the first time ever this year, can roll a car.
The ice is fun. Even better with decent winter tires. Studs take it to a whole new level. There is an actual wheel-to-wheel league up here. IIRA is pretty intense.

Ice racing is the most fun I have ever had in a car! It is a freaking BLAST!
We run the 15" Winter Tire class. Our tire sponsor "Waukegan Tire" hooked us up with a set of Nokian Hakkapalitta 5's. So far these things are working GREAT! We want to go studded but that is not going to happen this year.. Maybe next!
I do have some in car cam action if I ever get around to editing it...

No studs are legal for the streets around here but they are legal to race with! Next season we will most likely be on studded tires of some sort. We are waiting to see what our sponsor is going to do when the time comes.
