My "new" SS, and first Subaru! 8)
Hey guys I'm new here, also new to the Subaru community as well. This past Saturday I picked up a mostly purple 93 Legacy SS with 201k miles on the clock. I have been driving it for 2 days now and can easily say that I LOVE THIS CAR!! Easily the coolest beater I have ever owned.
It desperately needs new shifter bushings and both motor mounts are completely separated, so yesterday I ordered the STi group N mounts and Turn in Concepts shifter bushings. There is also a serious fluid leak(I think power steering) in the engine bay leaking oil down onto the crossmember that needs to be tracked down.
Well, on to the pictures!
It's rough around the edges, but the interior is immaculate!! well, minus these little cuts in the seats...
I think Ill be looking for some to replace those as all the foam is still pretty supportive.
That's all for now. I'm a picture whore when I do work on things so I'll hopefully have some pretty helpful and illustrative threads in the near future!

Welcome to the BBS! =)
Its always good to hop into the Subaru collective with an SS. Personally, i own a 94 Legacy Wagon, and regardless of the worn struts and old age, she still runs like a champ, and only 63k miles. The 1st gens seem to make alot people very happy. =)
Enjoy your stay and ENJOY YOUR CAR!

These cars are great and have a real way of growing on you. But WTF about those seats!? Was that a smuggler's car and cops were looking for contraband?

You can get the covers, but you could probably find whole new seats on this board for cheap from someone who moved to WRX seats. I can't tell the color of your seats because my stupid ibook has reached the end of its life and so the logic board bga problem is causing all the black on my lcd to be green, but I'm guessing they're the common black and gray seats. I have a set myself, but I'm hanging onto them until I know what I'm doing for seats in the car I'm building.

I have WRX TR Edition seats (grey/black) and I absolutely love them! They are more supportive than the seats in my buddy's '05 STi. Go figure.
