WTB wire harness, front half of car and Im a cheapskate

Post by ciper »

I would like to find a wire harness. This is a part that is a serious pain in the ass to remove and its not something people often have laying around.

Maybe you know of a car that is being parted out or something in a local junk yard that has already had the dash removed to get to the heater core?

I am in no hurry.

In my dreams it would be from a 1990 5 speed wagon but I'll take what I can get. Preferably the person would take the entire harness even to the point of cutting the wires just on the other side of any plugs that connect it to the rear of the car. It would probably also have the wires for the radiator fans and headlights.

Here are some parts for trade if you aren't only interested in cash -

Complete set of struts and springs (no tophats) from a 2002 WRX with 4500 miles on them
JDM Air to Water Intercooler
Running EJ22 longblock with one melted valve. See my frankenbeater build for details (can provide replacement valve)
1.5 din pocket with no door
3.9 and 4.11 open differentials
my02+ WRX fuel pumps
Generic front strut tower bar
Legacy turbo bypass valve and coolant tank
Random dash pieces

I believe I have the wiring harness from my 94 SS parts car in the garage at the other house. The only problems with it (IIRC) were the normal slight wear/tear on the knock sensor wire.

I can check the shape of it again in the next few days if it's something you'd be interested in.

That sounds interesting. Was it a five speed or automatic?

Doesn't the connector for the cam/crank sensor also come from the same place as the knock sensor? If so are all of them worn out or just that one?

Your harness also sounds awesome Nucularbacon.
Do you know if the car had ABS? Air Suspension? Air Conditioning? Power windows?

Thanks.

I was just telling someone where Chico was today. A friend of mine decided to become an illicit substance distributor and your home town is the source of her materials ;)
