I'd suggest going with the KYB GR2 struts and then maybe an upgraded rear anti-sway bar.

Start there and see how you like that setup.

whiteline would be my recommendation.

Or if you can find an 18mm rear bar from a turbo legacy in a junkyard.

95-99 legacy sway bars should fit in the rear, well atleast that's what I had found when serching

I had picked up a rallitek rsb for my 93 l. Price was great for a adjstable bar with aluminum endlinks and polyurthan bushings.

I am also running kyb gr2 with h&r lowering springs which gives for a nice sporty ride that's not overly stiff. I hopento have the rsb on within the next few weeks Along with my adjstable latteral links :-D

The AGX struts are more or less the same as the GR2's, but adjustable. You can make the AGX's have stiffer damping if you so desire. I ran the GR2's for a while, and then when I did my AWD & 5spd conversion I swapped in the AGX's. It's your choice really. The GR2's work just fine.

The blue springs are Whiteline control springs.

Check out Whiteline's website & d/l their catalog to see what parts they have for our cars.

From the info on my website, they lowered the car about 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear. When I did my AWD & 5spd conversion and went with the AGX struts it changed the ride height slightly since the rear struts utilize a different mount point. But overall I'm happy with the ride height.

The ride with the AGX's is a little harsh. I was happier with the GR2 struts and whiteline springs for a daily driver.

They'll likely need to be orderd from whiteline. Any whiteline reseller should be able to order them. When I got mine and had to wait a while. Ordered mine from www.boxer4racing.com
