help with the damn turnsignals

Post by crashnburn »

So im having a problem with this turnsignal canceling feature. I put on the turnsignal and it supposed to cancel out after the turn but it does not. ASC_Up tells me that when he put on this jdm momo steering wheel, it was missing some piece. So im trying to find this missing piece. I believe it is this but would like confirmation that this piece cancels the turn signal after the turn.
THIS IS WHAT I CURRENT HAVE:

update on this problem. I had to custom modify the plastic tab. I used a hot pick and melted the plastic in 3 spots to fit the pins on the turn cancel white thing. Lined up everything and now its works perfect. turn signal feature works great but still no horn.

i had to fight a bit to get my horn working. It'd do-able, though.

If you need, i can yank my wheel and take some pics. Basically, i cut off the electrical plug from the factory piece that held the electrical contacts for the cruise and horn, then soldered a wire to the board so I could snake it through an existing hole in the wheel. There i just plugged in my horn and voila!
