? for mk750 re:control arms

Post by greg donovan »

are the rear control arms you have the whiteline ones that are listed under their GC application pdf?

if so did you get PN KT108?

do they seem as stong as or stronger than the oem part? they look pretty stout.

i have a 90 fwd sedan that i rally-x so alignment adjustability and durabiltiy are very important.

thanks,
greg

Yep, KTA108. Mine were branded as MRT, but Whiteline makes them for MRT. PDM-racing ahs the whiteline set for $234, a very good deal.

They seem atleast as strong as OEM, however they are made with hollow tubes so that the adjustments to alignment can be made. There are a few who have actually broken there arms where it attaches to the outer bushing.

You'll need a few parts to convert your car over to them, i posted what they were in another thread, lemme find it.

-Two of the bushing inserts on the MRT control arms will need to be drilled out so that the stock bolts can fit through them
-You will need to buy two rear outer control arm bolts (20540AA010)
Other than that it's a complete changeover.

Those two bushing only need to be opened up a bit if you are FWD. AWD uses a bolt through each arm on the inside, whereas FWD was one long bolt.
