I am replacing the shocks in my 93. I have not looked yet to see if I need new rear strut mounts, but I went online, and rockauto and advance auto, only list rear strut mounts for AWD applications. I got the part number from alldata for my car and there seems to be a different part for left and right, and when I looked it up, it specified that it was a part for 2WD.
So, am I correct to assume that the AWD and 2WD parts are different? And does it sound like I need to go to dealer?
The only reason I think the strut mount might be bad, is because there is this vibration from the rear left when I stop (brakes are good). It is either the strut or the mount. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks
Rear strut mount 2WD 93 Legacy L

For future reference. The part numbers for the rear strut mounts are as follows:
Right: 20370AA220
Left: 20370AA230
I think this applies for 2WD 92-94 Impreza and Legacy,

Re: Rear strut mount 2WD 93 Legacy L
That seems really weird to me that the fwd would have a different mount for rh and lh, while the awd has the same on either side.
I seem to remember reading, somewhere, that during a swap the awd strut assembly simply bolted in, weather or not any modifications had to be made I don't recall.
I know that there are some folks around here who have done the fwd to awd swap, maybe one or more of them will chime in and clear up this confusion.
