two pics of the project car 93 winestone

Recap: The car was a project that was half-finished by a prior forum member.
I picked up the car from him and limped it across Washington State.
The wiring from the TPS to the ECU was compromised and was replaced.
He had the flywheel resurfaced beyond its allowable max and the cluch would barely engage.

So it got: a new lightweight flywheel, new plugs, wires, brakes, wheels, tires, AWIC, TD05-16G, 440's ,
exhaust, and a new lease on life.

Long term plans are to drive it. While the white SS gets its FMIC and 20K heads, I will be using this as a DD.

YES, it was sitting for over a year. Steve started working on it, and put it aside as he got stumped.
So I tried one last thing before we parted it out, and it worked.

So I am putting it back together the way it should have been.

I'm with you Josh. That silver looks way tricker than the black. I guess there is alway paint.

I want the silver one because it has the temp sensor in it. I think I like the black one better for color.....I'd have to see the silver one in my engine bay for comparisons hint hint ;)

I knew you were going to say it was because of the temp sensor. What about drilling a hole and welding a bung on for an aftermarket sensor?

Ehh....it's not that big of a deal. If I really want to get water temps I'd use something like this....which is pretty damn cool btw.

That is how I am running my water temps for the DEFI gauges in the STI.

But it would still be nice to use the sensor IN the JDM one.
