Stuck in Dallas for the next few weeks, anyone nearby?

I have to do three weeks in Dallas for classes, and I was wondering if anyone is nearby.
I know Josh is in Houston, but that is a bit of a drive.

I think there was one guy in the dallas area, but he doesn't post on here really. You going to be there over the weekend? Any free time, or is schedule pretty booked?

M-F 8-5 in classes, the rest of the time is mine.

Do you have a car, or are you pretty much stuck up there?

I'm probably going to be around this weekend and next weekend I'm going camping/mtn biking. I've got a spare bedroom if you wanted to come down to Houston for a day or something.

I have a car, but I would rather not impose on you for a night's stay.
How far is the drive, in time?

It's about 3-1/2 hr drive, depending on where you are in Dallas. If you're on the North side of town, it'll take a little longer.

Drew you won't be imposing on Josh. Go ahead and stay there, relax, put your feet up, work on his cars.

Haha.....John's right though, you won't be imposing. Like I mentioned I've got a spare bedroom with bed and second bath. There are some computers in there, but they won't mind

I dropped the engine block off at the machine shop today, so really won't have much to do for a little while, so if you come down, we can chill around the house/garage, or if you want to sight see, that's cool too.

If you don't end up making it down, let me know and I'll shoot a call to some friends up in that area and see what they're up to. They run a shop north of Dallas. They did the 2nd tune on my car. They're good people.
