94 Legacy Turbo Wagon Rebuild+5mt swap, Now No Spark?

Ok so i just finished rebuilding my turbo wagon and swaping in a 5mt from a 2.2 impreza...i drove it for two days just fine, though it would take a few tries to start after it sat over night. then all of a sudden no spark...i go to get temp tags for it and come back and it starts up. i get it to the shop and then it stops getting spark at all. ignition relay is good, ignitor is good, coil wires and plugs are good...the one problem was that when i tried to solder a wire from the ignition switch to the starter to bypass the trans switch, i may have melted the plastic to much and connected two wires, i got an ignition switch from an NA legacy and it has an extra wire.

anyone have any insight for me?

Yeah, it sounds like you have some electrical problems with what you did. I'd recommend going back over the wiring you did for the swap. If you have bare wire, wrap electrical tap around them.

Just an FYI.....my personal opinion on wiring stuff for automotive use is to not use solder. It can really be more a pain than it's worth. I will usually end up taking the crimp connectors, stripping the plastic protector and use the metal clamp alone and then put heat shrink over it. The end product looks much better and I've found to work better in the long wrong.
