Where you getting JDM parts from and how much are they costing you? I could care less about an ashtray but a leather console would be nice. I had no idea these parts existed.

I have a few of the wipers/motors.
I have a few sources that say the glass is no longer available in Japan.
BUT- you can get it in NZ or Australia ( I have been told)

Curious on the cup holder and how it works though.

Japanese inspection is a stupidly wasteful subsidy to their domestic manufacturers resulting in fairly new cars often being discarded for insignificant violations and because taxes are so high, making it cheaper for people to buy new cars every few years rather than keep the old ones. I would guess that if the manufacturers are not required to by law, that they wouldn't manufacture parts for discontinued cars for very long (certainly not 17 years) since the market for them would be so small, especially something that's a non-wear item and large to warehouse or keep molds for. And I'm pissed about the USA's consumer culture!
