rear diff options?
Right now I'm looking for options for replacing my rear diff, the previous owner messed up the rear diff (seized the drain and fill plugs and drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the cover with a siliconed bolt to plug the hole
) and it has been making noise for last 2 years. The diff noise became much more noticeable after replacing the muffler lol. so anyway I found a 4.111 diff out of a 05 legacy gt (part#27011AA730) with the CV axles and was wondering if that would work, I know the studs on the cover would have to be changed out and the pinion flange but I'm not sure about the length of the CV shafts.

Re: rear diff options?
I'm not sure about a diff that new. I'm pretty sure you would have to swap over the axle stubs.
Hopefully someone else can comment on this.
