Legacy on the track?
Has anyone turned their old Legacy into a track car? My '93 is now a rally car, but I'm considering changing its setup to try out at VIR for track days. The non-turbo is underpowered, but seems to handle well, although I have no idea what it'd do on the track.
Re: Legacy on the track?
This summer I have gotten into autocrossing with my na legacy. Suspention wise I've done kyb gr-2, h&r lowering springs, adjstable rear latteral links, rallitek rear sway bar, poly bushings everywhere, aluminum sway bar end links front and rear, front and rear strut bars, and 17inch wheels with performance tires.
With this set up the car handles very well, very neutral, I find it vey easy to toss around in the corners. Sofar I've been doing pretty good autocrossing but I still need to practicce some more and refine my driving style.
Power does help when autocrossing but most of it comes down to how you drive
