There are two species of human: those evolved from the same line as elephants and whales that help to advance civilization and those from monkeys that still throw their feces for fun. The majority are from the latter group...
Went to Salem, MA for Halloween (my home town, which is next door) and had a miserable time (long pointless story). Came back to find all my tires slashed and coke spilled all over my car. Good thing I have a locking gas tank as they tried to access it with the Coke by pouring it into the flapper door seam. Mine was the only car vandalized. I don't have any enemies and there's nothing to really stand out about my car, so I think it was just my lucky night. Had to wake my mother at 2AM to get a ride. Nice. Couldn't sleep since I was sick to my stomach worried that they did some other damage I couldn't see at night. Luckily it was just what I originally saw. Now I have to have it flatbedded to a tire place. Hope I don't have a deductible for my vandalism insurance. I've been through much worse trauma to myself, but when someone messes with my defenseless car that's something else entirely. I know its only four fairly inexpensive, likely insured tires to a near valueless car, but I would love to kill the whole families of the people responsible. Any parents who didn't drown the bastard kids like that at birth or bury them in the backyard themselves later on are just as responsible. Don't raise kids if you can't. I won't. I know some people are just born bad, but they need to start giving out licenses to reproduce just the same. I guess it's good from a writing perspective as now I can understand those guys who flip out and shoot people over seemingly minor incidents. They were probably just the final straw. Luckily I'm much better now that I know it was just the tires and not my new 3K+ paint job...
Rant over, thanks for your time.
Oh, yeah, you guys are all in the elephant group.

I get that a lotevolutionmovement wrote:you are in the elephant group.

But seriously it sucks that dumbass kids mess with your car. I know I would've been pissed if that happened but it was good that it was only your tires.

Last night a friend of mine just had 3 of her tires slashed with her car parked in her driveway. Her husband just lost his job, she does substitute teaching and just barely surviving with the little money she's bringing in. Her husband is out of town caring for an urgent matter. She's the sweetest gal around, always looking to help other people. She was so downhearted when the vandalism took place. Probably teenagers getting their kicks. Another friend of ours bought her 4 new tires (he was the first one to find out). Probably the same kids that broke 40 windows at the high school last week. Sometimes these teen vandals turn around and become decent people -- hope that happens; otherwise, they've got a rough life (prison, jail, incarceration!) ahead of them.
evo: After submitting my previous post I realized I started it to tell you that I feel for you. You didn't do anything to these vandals but they force you to spend much valuable time and money getting things right again. Hope you get some compensation for it and maybe get some tires you've been wanting to try out.

Thanks. I'm much calmer now. Had to replace the Falkens with Yokohamas. So far they seem a little quieter, but don't seem to track as precisely. They may just need to be broken in. The Falkens were so flat that the beads were crimped and it was like driving on square tires. Still, I was waiting to see if I could find some alloy Forrester wheels before I replaced these tires. Oh, well. She's fine now and so I can sleep tonight.

That sucks, vandals suck
. This year was the first in the last 6 that my car didn't get egged on halloween. My coolant tank was broke and I couldn't move my car off the street, I was really worried about leaving her to the wolves. It worked out though, she came through. Last year somehow they egged the inside back door of my locked car.
Sorry to hear about the slashed tires. It's sooo wrong to screw with other peoples property.
