Post by yazmo »

yeah i think the title say it all

i have remove from a junkyard the front driver glass by removing the entire screw inside the door
it was such a big mess.

i think if i am right, the windows must be lowered first but i could not do so in the junkyard
but i menage to pull it out .

now i wanna install it on my car but i dont want to mess with everything like i did
what is the easy way to install it?

is there something i need to know

PS: there is something on the glass blue round thing that is moving around just wanna know if i brake it while removing it, or its normal that it's moving, at first i tough it was broke.

if you guy need pic i can menage to pick some for you.

thx in advance

Just to confirm, you are talking about the front driver door window glass, correct?

There's two anchor bolts to secure the glass to the window track. Like it's mentioned, it can be kind of tricky to get it in. Once it's in, you just need to move the window regulator to a point where you can secure the glass to it.

Can you take some pictures of the back side of the blue roller? I think there should be some play, but I can't say how much.

Regarding the bolt, in the last picture, do you see the hole just below the glass. That is where one of the bolts that holds the window to the regulator assembly will be. You remove those bolts and the window should come out.
