This compressor will replace any of the Calsonic compressors used on North American first-generation Legacies. You may have to adapt the electrical connector, but that's just a single wire.

Too bad it isn't Zexel or I'd have bought it. I need to redo the whole system. With this man-made/natural cycle/New World Order conspiracy climate change going on, I can't get away without A/C anymore.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
It's not a wagon-vs-sedan issue; it's a Calsonic-vs-Zexel thing. This compressor will work on all first-generation North American Legacies with Calsonic compressors, including Calsonic-equipped wagons.

Ok, I understand. Mine is a Zexel anyway. So, you are saying it is just the difference between the high and low side mounts for the compressors as opposed to a sedan or wagon? I didn't know that.

It's not the mounts or fittings; it's the whole system. Some models got Calsonic systems and some got Zexel systems. All 91-93 turbos got Calsonic systems, and all 94 models got Zexel systems (different from the 90-93 Zexel systems though), and aside from that it varies.
Obviously this won't fit your car, Brad, but to others -- if your stock compressor has the little blue-and-silver Calsonic sticker on it (it may be covered with grime), this compressor will work for you.
