Can impreza RSB be made to fit my ss w/ a MALLET?!

so i came across a good deal on a 93-01 impreza rsb. I read in the suspension compilation that out bars fit those cars but not theirs ours because the spare tire bump. Does anybody know how much the bump interferes? Can i take a mallet to it and make it fit or would there be a lot of smashing involved?

You can cut out the bump in the bottom of the car to make it fit. Just make sure you leave no exposed metal to rust.

So what exactly do you mean by cutting out? Is there two layers to the sheet metal or will I see trough the trunk to the ground? How big will the hole be? And last question, is 150 a good price for a 22mm whiteline?

i cut the bump off the spare tire well and hit it with a hammer a bunch to make a 20mm GD sti RSB fit

I made my GD bar fit with a hammer, I still need to hammer more though. Be sure to take into account that it will move forward and backwards when the car goes up and down, I didn't...
