Stupid Stupid Whiteline

Post by LaureltheQueen »

Ordered my friggin whiteline control springs... ummm.... almost 9 weeks ago. Yeah.... They're STILL not here. Contacted PDM racing repeatedly, and everytime they say they should be coming in soon. Finally got pissed off, and the guy (Colin) said that whitelines are on backorder from australia, and it'll be another 2 weeks. Anyone know of other whiteline retailers that wont charge me more than 300 bucks for springs? Jesus.

Hi Laurel. My springs got left out of the order that came last wk. I'm sick of waiting so I'm staying w/ stock. Good luck finding them

Bah. I'll say this right now: Just because someone is in Sport Compact Car does not mean they know what they're talking about. Laurel, you know more about cars then she does. If you want springs that bad, i'll call my friend at H&R after he gets back from SEMA and see what he can do for us.

Hey tonflo.... Is that your silver wagon I see at UConn all the time? I'm assuming it is... I have the white sedan with black rims, you've probably seen me around.

Laurel,

email whiteline directly, ask them directly if they're on backorder, if they're not, email brett middleton directly tell him your pissed and whiteline says their in stock, forward the email to him, copy whiteline, and copy colin

that's the only damn way to get anything done is go to the big dogs......that's what I had to do!!!

Yeah, aside from the posts on Nasioc and i-Club lately, SubieGal has been great for parts and stuff. Cheaper than Subaruparts.com because the shipping's from Oregon.

Anyways, I would take Josh's advice and get emailing some people higher up if possible. This long for a set of springs is ridiculous :x

Well, I know subby dealers will generally charge you up the bum for stuff. THey wanted over $600 for kyb gr2's for my car, where i got agx's for 389 shipped online. PDM wants 200 for all 4 corners. Thats $50 each, and from what I've heard, whitelines are the way to go, so I CAN wait, but I'd rather not. Cost IS an option as well, as I'm a broke-ass high school student trying to scrape together cash for an engine before mine dies. Perhaps when I'm up north this weekend, I'll swing by carter...

I'll definitely email whiteline and get the deal on the springs. This is f-ing ridiculous.

I feel your pain, but carter does have reasonable prices on the whiteline sways. I was going to get them but decided Id rather put the money in my rabbit. I too am a broke ass student.

alternatives:

http://www.airbornemotorsports.com/prod ... ension.htm

http://www.prestige-motorsports.com/

http://www.isrperformance.com/suspension.html (per josh, ask for Brett Moncur)

http://www.spimotorsports.com/

For all of these vendors, i would suggest calling or emailing with the whiteline PN.
