We're sitting on gold mines!

Looks like a pretty damn standard EJ25 to me. Even if they get their own controller (doubtful—they don't even list higher horsepower rating than stock), I can't see where they get the nerve. Damn, I need to paint that spare EJ22T and sell it for $30k!

 Maybe people drink while shopping for boat parts, as well as when actually boating?

Have they been converted for water cooling and such that they would be worth that price?

There's nothing there that I see, but there wouldn't really be anything necessary with a fresh water system except for some way of putting the waste raw water into the exhaust manifolds. They do mention heat exchangers, but even if they supplied custom manifolds with fittings for attaching the cooling hoses, that's not terribly expensive. Most of us could probably adapt a mix of modified stock parts and cooling system kits for other engines.
