The Ingalls PowerStick pitch mount takes the dog bone one step further. It's got a spherical bearing at one end, and a stiff polyurethane bushing at the other. In between it's solid steel. The PowerStick is designed to reduce engine/tranny deflection under hard acceleration and cornering loads, reducing weight transfer, improving horsepower to the wheels (power not used in pushing the motor around can be used to push the wheels!), and improving control.
Sure, a stiff connection to your motor will transmit more vibration and noise into the car. But if you've got a big power Subaru, you'll appreciate the control this adds. (Ever watch how much your engine moves around the engine bay when the car is on the dyno?)
What was the need to not using it if you dont mind me asking.
