how many quarts

Post by whitefcdrifter »

Yooo my names eric and I am not a proud legacy owner I've always had and built rwd and now I got a awd 91 legacy wagon for a daily and to do a mild build on, I've only had it a couple days and its been awesome! Untill today =(
Its got some torque bind starting, I'm going to check the tires and change the diffs fluids and tranny fluids, flush them first of coarse, but I have no clue how many quarts per…I'm also going to check for codes and hope I don't have to replace the c solenoid I can even find one or a price! But yeah ima do the quick cheaper stuff tomorrow and if that doesn't help ill move forward I put the fwd fuse in today but do not want to use it unless needed……

Thanks, Eric

Hi Eric,

I would get about 5 qts for a drain & refill of the auto trans. The exact amount is in the owner's manual. If you don't have one, I've scanned mine from my 90 Legacy. It will be mostly the same for your 91.
