i need to know what trans i have. its a 93 legacy 5speed awd. on the trans, are japan fm3, japan fm2, 616486, ty752va2aa. i have found a place to get all the parts i need for the rebuild, but i want to know what its caled like 3at, 4eat ect. i want to know as much as possable befor i start buing parts. i wanted to ask you guys, cauz im more of a v8 kinda person. my subaru is just my everyday driver and i freaking love it lol, i mean its a subaru you know hehe. my latest hot rod is a 89 chevy s10, with a lt1 6speed from a 95 vett. realy fun truck. anyway any help with the transmission question would be great ty.

Google is your friend: 5 speed manual, AWD, fits 90-94 Legacy. Part number TY752VA2AA, Hollander interchange number 400-59681. 4.111 final drive.
