Biff, the 1st gen turbo.

Post by Magnetrax »

Just saying Hi and Thank you!
been into legacycentral for a little bit over the years and got a lot of helpful info from yall.
Just got my 1st driveable Legacy turbo a couple weeks ago and I'm really loving it.
I plan on keeping it pretty stock but there will be some upgrades. I really tried to get the cleanest ss i could find.

only got one question for now, where's my fog light switch???

too bad the wheels are going on my friends impreza wagon. I was trying to buy them but he beat me to it. I am still looking for a good deal on some silver or gold bbs wheels in 5x100

should have the exhaust done on friday morning, hope it isn't too loud inside the car

thanks for the feedback

Hot car. And yeah, you'll have to make your own fogs. Check my posts, its exactly what i'm doing. Look under "91 ss with a little makeover".
As for your friends BBS's, Would he be interested in a trade? I have some sexy Rays JDM wheels that won't clear my brembos now. So i cant put them on till I find wheels that clear...

check you clutch fluid, might help the shifting issue.

no vw parts here.

the story on these are that they came off one of the first wrx's to be imported to the us. They came on a red wrx at some performance shop in the Northeast. They've been passed around a couple times but there are suppose to be fairly rare. I herd 8 sets were made, but there is no way to figure that out. I like the looks and I got them from a buddy so its kinda a "keeping it in the family" deal.

resurfaced the flywheel, changed the clutch, pressure plate, ect. master/slave cylinder were also changed. also all fresh trans/dif fluid and an oil change, and now i'm waiting on a wrx linkage to replace all the 20 year old bushings.

I'm really hoping that all the extra play in the linkage is keeping me from getting into and out of gear. car still drives fine, just have to be swift with the shifting.

The wheels are sweet and one question, what rack are you running and what attachments are you using to mount it to the roof. I really need to get one.
