98RS Wheels STOLEN, Tacoma WA - Pictures inside.

Post by 253.Asmo »

Damn, what a crappy way to wake up on a dreary Sunday. My red and black 1990 turbo swap, sitting right in front of my house, now sitting on blocks instead of rubber. My 98 RS 6 spokess with brand new Pirelli PZero Nero's, 205/45 R16 stolen while I was sleeping.

If anyone in the Tacoma area spots these for sale or otherwise, feel free to message or call me. It's a long shot but you never know, Subaru is a tight community in this area.

Pretty bummed about this one, think that was the first set of NEW tires I'd ever bought :(

Keep your eyes peeled in the Tacoma, Seattle area for these. It's not like they were Honda wheels or something, little more specific.

That sucks man. Take heart that they didn't just jack your vehicle. Seems like there's a lot of carjacking going around.

Yeah, definitely glad they left the car. And on blocks...how considerate.

There has been a lot of carjacking around here it seems. Poor economy, people get more desperate, more brazen. I sleep less than 30ft away!

Time to save for some STI wheels I guess :) going with SS 15's and old rally tires for now, no money whatsoever to deal with this kind of crap :(

That sucks man. I was at Ft Lewis back in 96-99 and I remember that you couldn't park in some hoods in Tacoma. I'm glad they didn't take the whole thing. That's what happened to my 99 Civic....twice. First time it was found with no rims or intake. Second time it was paid out. Found almost a year later with dash completely ripped out, Carbon-Fiber Hood gone, muffler cut off and stereo and speakers ripped out. I hate people who break into shit and steal!!! If you want rob someone, hit a bank!! At least they're insured and guaranteed to have cash on hand. Sorry again bro!!

And I thought the wheel locks were usually BS.

I know I learned another lesson. Double wheel locks, cross-brand, and a friggin alarm go in when I financially recover from this BS.

I need to get them on my B4 pronto. I keep putting it off, but this will probably make me go get some tonight, even though it's garaged.

I had two sets of wheel locks on my Honda: one OEM, one aftermarket. Fit wheels are as hot as GSR blades around here. That seemed to be enough deterrent, as no one ever messed with it.
