Trying to check codes but the CEL just blinks

Post by ScoobyLegacy »

1994 Legacy Early EJ22, not wanting to start will crank over. got under the dash the green connectors on the left of the steering column were plugged in and the black connectors on the right hand side were plugged in too. I tried to connect the green and black connectors to get the Codes but the CEL just blinks and won't do anything but that if i plug them both in again the CEL just stays on. WHAT THE HELL.. IDK what im doing i guess..

Please any help would be good

Does it blink constantly or different patterns? http://legacycentral.org/library/literature/codes.htm

Welcome to the BBS. Only the black connectors should be plugged in to check the codes. Also, the black & green connectors should normally be unplugged.
