Air control valve

Post by artieb »

Hi, I have been battling an engine misfire fior a while, I have read that something to do with the air control will cause #1 injector to go goofy? I do have a code 24? That indicates a AIC. Can I use a meter that can do duty cycle to monitor #1 inj.? The Subie is in the sig.

You should be able to monitor injector 1 with a meter that can do duty cycle, but I'm not sure what it's going to tell you. I really doubt that a bad IAC valve can cause issues specifically with a cylinder.

What have you done already and what have you checked?
