AWD rear wheel bearings and diff

Post by rally370 »

I have a nice drone from the rear end which after 200,000miles and many rallies a bearing overhaul is long over due.

Anyone done the rear wheel bearings? bearings needed?

Diff I know how to pull apart, so I just need a list of bearings needed.

I was going to do my rear passengers bearing, bought the parts, then due to an emergency had to run down to the junkyard and get a hub with a bearing in it. Ended up bein cheaper that way too. Anyways there is an inner and outer bearing and three seals. If u just call napa or the stealership, I'm sure they'll tell u exactly what u need too. Also u will need a press and what not to get the bearing out and to get it in I've read that people use one of there old seals to protect the bearing when pressing it in. Or u can take the nuckle to the shop and have them press it out and the new one in. Just supervise them and make sure they put the seals in the right order. There's an inner, middle and outer seal.

Most likely I'll do the used hub route but for the diff I still need the bearing numbers. I tried the stealership but they couldn't help me. Anyone got a diff apart??
