DD Wagon Suspension?

Post by Gray Ghost »

So I have decided to start this to give something more up to date than the info I am finding. This sight is a wealth of info, but much of it is buried 10 pages deep :-) . I am updating the tired stock suspension on my '94 touring wagon. It has 119k and is worn out to say the least. I have decided to go the middle of the road $ wise since this is a $3500 car. I have new GR2's sitting at home and am trying to decide on springs. The car is my DD and also sees gravel/snow duty. Nothing really deep, but it can't be dumped and scraping on every little thing. So far I like the rates and drop of the wrx wagon eibach pro-kit springs. Trying to stay at $200 or less and maintain a good ride/handling compromise. Any other suggestions along this route?

I am running V4 STI struts and H&R Legacy springs on mine and it drives great.

Image That was after I first put the springs on and its leveled out since.

That looks great. Ended up going with GR2's and '02 WRX eibach springs. I'll take some before and after pics when I do the install next week. Anything will be better than the stockers with 120k on them.

Also, do I need to buy spring perches for the front springs? Or, will the stock perches fit the wrx eibach's?
