it's done...

Post by morgie »

Yup, it's now completed.

"Terminé la legacy"... she left me on saturday....

after 2 days using my girlfriend's hyunday accent (where is the hp ??!!)
I just received my new toy ... a nice little 99 Impreza OBS , RS Springs, KYB AGX shocks, DBA slotted brakes ... wow, that car handles like a go-kart (compared to my legacy with original springs and shocks)...

now, it just needs a little help for the hp / torque side.

here's some pics. (as usual... hehe)

all the pics :

Congrats, man. That's gonna be wicked awesome when it's done (thought I'd throw in some Bostonian accent).

Homeslice : Yup the RS got that crappy bumper because of safety regulation.

Our regulation sais that you must be able to hit a pole at 8km/h and suffer no damanges (only minor scratchs on the bumper are tolerated).

But, the Bumper you guys got on the RS had big fog-lights, and those don't survive the 8km/h hit ... This was corrected with the New impreza MY 02 .

Except that bumper issue, our RS was the same as your's (no rear-wiper on sedan)

One popular mod here is to cut the lower-half of the Canadian bumper beam, and put a Us bumper skin on it.. :) a little bit weak, but same great look :)
