lash lifters?

Post by jeffdoubleu »

I have started a N/a rebuild on a spare motor.
so hll
How are they cleaned and how much pressure should it take to depress them
some are easy some won't bud-ch with max finger force.

p.s. Haynes manuals kinda suck

Thanks Jeff

You can just bleed them out and refill them with some good oil. They lifters should be very hard to press, so if you have any that are squishy, try bleeding them out and refilling them. If that doesn't work then you should just get new ones from the dealer or whatever. Also get new O-rings for any you have removed just to be safe.
