Post by wrat »

New guy to the forum. Looking for a beater for my first suby. Must be awd. I only have $1100 so i know it's a long shot but if anyone has one for sale in the Saint louis area please let me know. I have cash in hand for the right ride. You can either PM or email me at yunghunter@aol.com (faster response)

Did a craigslist search for St. Louis, and that area is slim pickings for Subarus. Good Luck!

That's a rare model, with the raised roof and ground effects.

i am in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan.... better known as the north end of I-75
the SS should make it anywhere in the continental united states, possibly even alaska. so picking it up wont be a problem.

the good:
110,000 original miles.
New Clutch - Friction Master
Rebuilt alternator.
vacuum lines checked and replaced.
pretty clean under body for northern Michigan
all electronics function well (exception of seat belts, which flake out every now and again)

the bad:
Front Shocks have had it.
rear sway bar pass-side mount broken.
exhaust is separated just before the muffler (not that loud)
shifter linkage needs new bushings.
needs the body work finished and paint.

i had planned on keeping this car for the rest of its life.
but dire straits say otherwise :(
