Post by 93legacylsleeper »

Hey all just wondering if anyone knows if Cusco Engine and Trans mounts will work on my 93. Any input will help. Thanks in advance.

If they are meant for a '89-'04 Legacy, '92-'07 Impreza, '03-'06 Baja, '97-'08 Forester, or '95-'04 Outback they will work.

Others may also work.
'93 Winestone SS Auto, '91 Pearl White SS.
'93 Pure White SS EJ20G slanty intercooled, SIDESWIPED! In stasis.
'94 FWD and '95 AWD Laguna Blue SVXs.
2017 Pure Red BRZ Limited w/Performance pack

They are for an 02-05 WRX at least thats what the posting says... The box they are in says GC8, GDA, GDB, STI. My engine and trans mounts are so far gone, these would be SWEET if they fit on my car.

I got the kartboy ones for a 02-05 WRX and they fit my SS. You do have a 5mt, right? The transmission ones for a 6-speed won't work (I hear) and the 5mt ones don't fit a 4eat.

Yeah I have a 5mt. Thanks for the info. Has anyone used the CUSCO mounts? I really want a definite answer cause these are expensive.

Ok Well how about these expensive Cusco mounts compared to Group N??? Group N are still way stiffer than our stock mounts and the Cusco mounts are basically solid... Group N will still be a big improvement and for less Money. Any one have any experience on the subject to help me make up my mind? :|

What are you wanting to do with you car? I honestly see absolutely no benefit in getting the cusco mounts over the group N STi mounts.

Maybe if it was a rally car or some other dedicated racing car...maybe....but as I mentioned, the group N STi mounts are plenty stiff.
