92 idle miss

Post by turbo5711 »

I have a 90 legacy with a 92 motor n/a in it I have a miss at idle but runs good above 2000 rpm. I have checked all the sensors i have tried changing the plugs wires and even the injectors it is only happening on the passgeer side head but i am at wits end with it

Is this an engine swap with the misfire results? or did you get the car this way. reason I ask if you swapped over the injectors as they are different. Also try doing an ohms test on the injectors, coil pack and spark plug wares. And if you're getting any trouble codes.

The EJ22 was non-interference 'til '96-ish, so shouldn't have bent a valve, but are you 100% sure you have the T-belt on correctly? One tooth off or using the wrong mark on the Crank sprocket will cause similar issues.
